Chip Royce

Chip Royce joined MUB in November 1989 as a staff accountant working alongside the comptroller. Given his background in computer science, Chip soon began working on various information technology infrastructure projects. This included the introduction of an integrated computer system and related software in 2000.

Given the amalgamation of accounting and IT roles, Chip was ultimately appointed Customer and Information Services manager. He held this position until July 2021 when promoted to comptroller where he oversees all financial aspects of MUB along with customer service, billing and IT.

Chip holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fairmont State University.
